Do You See Me Now!

A few weeks back I visited my Mom on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I drove my car. But you know how it is, I wished the whole time I had ridden my bike, despite the rain. But I knew my mother would get on my case about riding in the rain. And she's a worry wort. So, I decided to forgo the bike, for the car, for my weekly visit with Mom.

As I drove to her house, I then I saw him, riding his bike down one of our busy arterial roadways. I always carry my camera on me. But he was too far away for me to get a good shot. And my traffic light had just turned green (never shoot while driving).  Bummer, I thought.  He was quite interesting. Who was that man?

I visited my Mom for about an hour and then off I went on my merry way and drove home. But, something was telling me to take a different route this time. And low and behold, I couldn't believe it, there he was again! I must take his photo, I must! This was meant to be!  And as luck would have it,  the light turned red, and I rolled down my car window, and took several shots. He saw me and smiled. And then his traffic light turned green and off he went.

It was such a cold, dreary, wet day.  This sight brightened it up a bit and made my day more pleasant.  If ever I see this man again, guess who I'll be interviewing next :).

  1. I love it! What a visible outfit. Is he wearing knickers?

    1. At certain angles of the photos they do look like knickers, but no, I don't believe so. I just love how far he went to be seen. He either has a real good sense of humor or he's trying to make a statement. Even his bike was bright orange! Love!
